The Terrific Twos!

A cluster of turquoise party balloons arranged to shape a number 2 on a white background.

2 Years and 2 months ago, I lamented the difficulty in finding a pill sorter that was cute and portable. From that frustration was born this incredible project.

50,000+ hits from 110 countries later- we're still here, with a long list of things to keep searching, finding, and adding!

June was a rough month here at PSS central- 4 days without power, a wicked pressure system that had me basically down for the count the rest of the month- I'm relieved that our weather is leveling back out again finally. As much as I hate the heat- once the summer storms settle out, my pain resumes it's normal torture instead of the high-grade horror that comes with those kinds of barometric events. I was so out of it for June that for the first time in 2 years I didn't even get this page made for the month. I've been super late before, but this was the first time I just couldn't get my brain and body to work at the same time. These last few days they finally coordinated a little and I've added loads of new shops this week, and have a whole list more to add in the next few days as well (hopefully).

And I've got it together now (mostly). At least together enough to say how wonderful this has been for us thus far. How excited we still are about developing this more and more as we move onward. I'm sure from the outside, our progress here often seems slow- to be fair, it often seems slow from the inside! But there is still so much we want to add and do here. New shop categories, new resources, new designs of our own too. Someday, we will step forward and begin the process of becoming a registered non-profit too.

We want to help so many more people in the future, in ways beyond being the aggregate of links that we are now.

To those who have been here since the start, watching us collect and build and grow- we thank you. We thank you for your constant patience, your support, your shares and recommendations and queries. And to those who have just found us or are seeing this months or years down the road- welcome. We can't wait to do and share and give more.

Happy 2nd Anniversary to this little passion project. To what started with some 18 links and now numbers nearly 1000. To the endeavor that brought me purpose, and even love (<3). To the project that keeps me going forward when sometimes it's difficult to move at all.

Happy 2nd Anniversary to this incredible, resilient, hopeful community.

Happy 2nd Anniversary, Pretties.

To many, many more.

CAMPAIGN(S) OF THE MONTH:

Normally, each month, we feature 1-3 fundraising campaigns. We like to share these links so that visitors who have the means know where need may be and can help folks in our community who are trying to get access to care or equipment they otherwise can't afford. Because there are so many folks needing help right now, we're going to start sharing a few campaigns a month- in hopes that we can help spread the love as widely as possible. If you are able, please consider donating to one of these fundraising campaign to help those who need it.

Help Me Get a Service Dog

Aster stands above the camera, holding a black cane and looking into the distance.

Hey everyone! I am a disabled trans man and I am currently trying to raise money to get a service dog! I have multiple mental illnesses as well as a physical disability that a service dog could help me with. The dog would be tasked with things like interrupting panic attacks, blocking, bringing me medication, DPT, etc. Any money I raise will go directly towards getting a service dog. This money will cover the adoption fees as well as some of the training fees and supplies. Please donate and share if you can! Thank you all so much!
